Describe the character's personal history (however brief or extensive): Anthony's parents died in a car accident when he was of a very young age. He was sent with his sister, Mischa, to live with his uncle. His uncle (who married into the family), a wizard, was his only known relative. He lived in Dorking, a small town south of London. As a child Anthony spent his time showing Mischa all the 'tricks' he could do as a wizard. He grew up focusing on primary school and playing with her. He was never close with his wizard Uncle, never feeling a familial bond with the man.
When his letter from Hogwarts came, he was delighted that there was this extraordinary chance for him to make more of himself. At Hogwarts, he was sorted into Ravenclaw, which was no surprise; he was always good with the books. He advanced quickly and was soon taking all the classes possible so that he could learn all there was to learn. He spent his free time in the library, reading books of all different types. He was fascinated with the magical world and all it had to offer. During his fifth year, he made prefect.
It was also during his 5th year that Mischa revealed to him that their uncle had been sexually abusing her for years. Since she had not received a letter to Hogwarts, she stayed at home with their uncle, attending muggle schools. Anthony was disgusted that he hadn't noticed this happening, but wasn't sure what he could do to help. When he heard about Dumbedore's Army and how they were being trained to protect themselves, he joined, seeing it as a way to help protect his sister. During the summer after his 5th and 6th years, he spent every moment with her making sure his uncle didn't have the chance to touch her again. Each year he left for Hogwarts, he felt extremely guilty but knew that going to school would be the best chance he had to help. As soon as he graduated, he had every intention of taking Mischa away from his uncle and bringing her to Wizarding London with him.
Throwing himself into his studies, he felt powerless to help his sister which fueled his desire to master other areas of his life. He scored high marks on his OWLs and NEWTs, and when he graduated from Hogwarts, he headed home. Unable to find Mischa he confronted his uncle on her whereabouts, who at first claimed innocence. Anthony, anguished and worried, forced the truth from his uncle. Mischa had threatened to go to the police and his uncle had killed her. Out of anguish, Anthony avenged his sister's death, strangling his uncle. Not knowing what to do, and worrying about being caught, he spent a year traveling, running as far away from the Dorking and the memory of his sister as possible. It was during his year of traveling that he realized no one was looking for him. He'd literally gotten away with murder. This thought excited him, made him feel powerful, something he hadn't felt while at Hogwarts, unable to help his sister. He sought out this feeling again, learning about the human condition and finding himself craving the rush of killing someone. Soon, he found that if he was careful, there was a definite lack of punishment for his crimes, which only urged him on.
After returning to the wizarding world, he looked for a profession that would allow him to use his skills as a wizard, and would also allow him to continue his 'private study'. An opening with the Obliviator squad at the Ministry opened up, and Anthony grabbed at the opportunity not only to work at an institution that he could undermine, but also to learn a new skill that would aid him in the future. Using the Ministry job as a front, Anthony has found himself offering his services to others at a price, using his Obliviation skills to help clean up afterwards. His allegiance is to himself, though for a price he is willing to be flexible.
Profession: He was an obliviator for the Ministry of Magic, but is currently being held in Azkaban, serving a life sentence for murder.

Anthony's visual representation is Zachary Quinto.
