Name: Bishop Jude Rascaile
Age and date of birth: July 5, 1965
Physical description: Quite tall at 6’3” and very muscular. Bishop has dark hair and eyes, and often goes several days in a row without shaving. If you look closely, you might notice the few grey hairs that are creeping into his beard or the crinkles that no longer quite smooth from the corners of his eyes and mouth. He wears his age with pride.
Parents’ Allegiance: (DE, OotP, Ministry, etc.): Bishop’s parents were members of the original OotP.
Personal Allegiance: (DE, OotP, Ministry, etc.): The Ministry, although he’s noticed some changes in the last several months that have him concerned.
How do people perceive this character: Blunt and a bit cocky. He’s a friendly enough bloke, but on occasion his temper gets the best of him. People who’ve witnessed that tend to stay out of his way when he’s in a mood.
Greatest Fear: The next megalomaniac to follow in Voldemort’s footsteps. There will be another, it’s just a matter of when.

Describe the character's personal history (however brief or extensive):

Bishop’s parents were members of the original Order of the Phoenix, however, his father was killed when Bishop was fourteen. After his father’s death, Bishop’s mother moved to the continent, where she resides to this day. He visits her as often as he ‘can’, by which he means as often as he can tear himself away from his job.

A Gryffindor at Hogwarts, Bishop went directly from school into training for the MLES. He got engaged to his school sweetheart, Theresa Robins, when he was twenty-one, only to have her murdered a month before their wedding by a man being hunted by the MLES. Theresa’s killer has never been caught, and that is still a large part of what drives Bishop in his career.

Profession: Bishop works as a Hit Wizard for the Ministry’s Magical Law Enforcement Squad, tracking down dangerous criminals.
