Physical description: The 'shorter, stockier' flavor of Weasley exemplified by Charlie; about 5'10", sort of wiry. Weasley-red hair, of course, currently cut slightly long.

How do people perceive this character: A clown, a jokester; generally easygoing. This sometimes translates to people assuming that Fred is less than genuine in what he says or does, which is not always the case. He's developed a good head for business, as evidenced by the continued success of Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes, though the idea that he is less intelligent or clever than those in more 'worthwhile' pursuits still persists.
Greatest fear: Something happening to his family. George's death was a major blow to the Weasley family, but now that Fred's started his own family, he'll protect them at any cost.
Greatest passion:Making people smile or laugh with his jokes, but now that his two sons are born, Devon and Corey, his family is his greatest passion. He can't wait to watch his sons grow up.
Aspiration: To raise his family just as his father raised him and his brothers and sister while keeping the business he and George started alive.

Describe the character's personal history (however brief or extensive): Fred joined the Order as soon as he (and, presumably, George) was allowed, and spent the war adapting his knowledge of potions/chemistry and charms to help the Light in the war effort. Since, he's returned to making joke products, assuming the role of cheerer-up, as he is accustomed to being. George's death wounded him deeply, and he was unresponsive for a while afterward, ignoring everyone and everything until his family got through to him.

He's not quite the same without George, though he tries not to show it. His wife, Katie, helped him through the dark times, and now he's enjoying the bright times in life.

Profession: Entrepreneur. Fred owns and operates Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes at #93 Diagon Alley in wizarding London.
