Name: Gabrielle Elodie Delacour
date of birth: December 19th, 1986 (Age: 16)
Physical description: Gabrielle is very short, she's about five foot one and slender; everything about her from her skin to her hair is pale. She has long, very fine blond hair and blue eyes. She is very fashion oriented and enjoys dressing in the latest styles. She is fastidious about her appearance, and won't leave the house unless she's wearing make up and her hair is styled.
Parents' Allegiance: (DE, OotP, Ministry, etc.): The Delacours aren't the most politically minded couple. Their allegiance was directly related to what they were told by Fleur, when she joined the order, their allegiance was with them.
Personal Allegiance: (DE, OotP, Ministry, etc.): Gabrielle, like her parents, doesn't pay enough attention to politics to have an allegiance.
How do people perceive this character: Gabrielle is considered flighty, and an airhead. She's very friendly though, and quite a chatterbox. She isn't shy at all, and will strike up a conversation with anyone.
Greatest fear: Being compared to Fleur (whom she idolizes) and found wanting.
Greatest passion: Harry Potter. She's been obsessed with him since he rescued her in the Triwizard Tournament. Also, clothing and fine Italian footwear.
Aspiration: To finish school and take a position at Gringott's, like her older sister.

Biggest Fault: She's flighty, never sticking with one thing too long. She's a bit of a spoiled brat, especially when she doesn't get her way.

Describe the character's personal history (however brief or extensive):
Gabrielle is the youngest daughter of Benoît and Apolline Delacour, she was somewhat of a surprise since they thought they couldn't have more children, but they were very happy with the new addition to the family. She had a warm childhood, surrounded by people who loved her and took care of her (and spoiled her).
The highlight of her childhood (if you were to ask her) would have been the Triwizard Tournament. She was so proud of her sister, and she was thrilled when she was allowed to visit her at Hogwarts. She has no memory of anything that happened during the Second Task, except for waking up afterwards. When she found out that she'd been rescued by Harry Potter.
When Fleur got married, she was more sad than anything else, believing that she was losing her sister for good. Before the wedding, in a fit of panic, Gabrielle took Fleur aside and begged her to not go through with it. Fleur took pity on her and told her that she could come stay with them during the summers if she wanted to. She didn't want to though, because while she wanted to spend time with her sister, she had no desire to spend time around her brother-in-law.
The next year though, she was at Beauxbatons. She didn't make many friends, but she did learn one new trick. She found that most boys were drawn to her because of her Veela blood and she didn't mind in the least. She never went without someone to help her with her homework (she would never actually let them do it for her) or someone to walk her to class, or to carry her books. Someone was always willing to take notes for her, or partner with her for assignments. As she grew older, it got a little stronger and boys wanted to take her on dates, so she would date them. It never lasted very long though, a week or two at most, but she would never let them kiss her. She believed that her first kiss was something special and beautiful and she was waiting for the right person to come along.
That summer she went to stay with Fleur and Bill, but not by choice. Her parents were going on a Grand Adventure for her fathers Herbology work and they were leaving her in England. She hated it for the first month, but Bill managed to charm her into liking him. And soon she was spending every summer there while her parents trekked around the globe. She didn't mind though, she grew to love Shell Cottage, and she loved spending time with Fleur and when she learned that Fleur was pregnant she insisted on coming so she could help prepare for the baby. When Fabian was born, she fell in love at first sight. He was the most adorable thing she'd ever seen. She made the decision that she would be moving to England after graduation. She wanted to be close to them, and her parents didn't need to worry when they went off on expeditions, since she would be with family.
Bill helped her get an internship in his department, which gives her something to do during the day until she decides what she wants to do with her life.
Profession: For now, she's a student at Beauxbatons Academy. She's also doing an internship at Gringott's.
