Harry Potter

Player Info:
Name: Vicky

Character Audition Questions:

Name: Harry James Potter
Age and date of birth: July 31, 1980
Physical description: His eyes are bright green, and on more than one occasion he has been told they're the same as his mother’s. His hair, however, is much like his father's: Black, messy and unkempt. He wears glasses, though he wears them more for the personal connection he feels to his father than a real necessity. His forehead bears the infamous lightning bolt shaped scar given to him by Voldemort, and since his fifth year at Hogwarts, the back of his right hand reads ‘I must not tell lies’ in faint white lines. His body is trim and he works hard to stay in shape, wanting to be at peak Auror physical form.
Parents’ Allegiance: (DE, OotP, Ministry, etc.): His parents were members of the Order of the Phoenix before they were killed by Voldemort.
Personal Allegiance: (DE, OotP, Ministry, etc.): Harry has followed in his parents tradition and has been a loyal member of the Order of the Phoenix, becoming and Auror, eventually rising to Head of the MLE.
How do people perceive this character: Before the war, many saw Harry as nothing more than a dramatic young man who craved the spotlight and attention (this view being held by most of the wizarding community and a majority of his schoolmates). Since the war and the fall of Voldemort, Harry has done his best to stay out of the papers (though he's finding this somewhat difficult). Many people tell him he's a natural-born leader and teacher, but Harry is unsure what to do with this information. He has yet to parlay this into his career at the Ministry, despite being in a position to actually change things.
Greatest fear: Failing, though he feels he keeps doing just that.
Greatest passion: Keeping the wizarding world safe; keeping what happened to him from happening to anyone else.
Aspiration: To continue to do Good for the wizarding world; to not only be known as the ‘Boy Who Loved Twice’. To find someone who loves him for him, and not for his fame.
Greatest Positive Attribute: Harry's not afraid to stand up for what he believes in. He will stick steadfast to a cause and be unwavering in his support if he thinks it is the smart and right thing to do.
Biggest Fault: Harry can be very bigoted in his view of Slytherins, refusing to see them as anything more than slimy snakes who are looking out only for themselves.
Happiest Memory: Meeting Hermione and Ron for the first time. Riding on a broom for the first time.
Most painful Memory: Being unable to save Dumbledore, though he knew there was nothing he could do.
Does your character value the purity of blood: Harry refuses to acknowledge the purity of blood.
Is your character "pure-blooded," a "half-blood" or "Muggle-born": Half-Blood. His mother was muggle-born.

Describe the character's personal history (however brief or extensive):

The years following the fall of Voldemort have been difficult for Harry. He enrolled in the Auror program, knowing his place was trying to keep something like what happened to him from happening to anyone else. After graduating, he began taking on cases, but they were nothing like he’d thought they’d be. His confusion over being unsure where he fit was heightened when he was voted in as the Head of the Magical Law Enforcement after its current head, Maria LeGrot, was moved to Minister of Magic.

Since being made Head, Harry’s life has been filled with endless meetings and political fundraising. He’s been at a loss since moving into the position, losing the ability to really help anyone like he wanted when originally signing up for the Aurors. Personally, he’s been unable to form a lasting relationship with anyone and has convinced himself that romantic love is something he’s not meant for. He is determined to throw himself into his job at the Ministry, the only thing that seems to stay constant in his life.

Profession: Auror, Head of the Magical Law Enforcement department at the Minsitry of Magic.

Harry's visual representation is Jared Leto.
