Parents' Allegiance:(DE, OotP, Ministry, etc.): Muggles, but as Owen grew into a young wizard they supported the Ministry as they didn't know any better.
Personal Allegiance: (DE, OotP, Ministry, etc.): Ministry (in truth, if Owen knew what the Ministry was up to, he would support the Order, but, alas, he doesn't. So he supports the Ministry because they are the law and they should be correct in all things)
How do people perceive this character:Owen is a goofy, obnoxious, accident-prone person. He has always been seen this way, and it is hard for anyone to see past this.
Greatest fear: Failing at his chosen career path. He wants to photograph, his hands itch if he goes too long without a camera in them.
Greatest passion: Taking snaps with his camera.
Aspiration: To become Head Photographer at the Prophet.
Greatest Positive Attribute: His amiable nature.
Biggest Fault: His clumsy actions. They are always getting him into trouble. Sticking his nose in where it doesn't belong. He has been attacked previously for some of the pictures he has taken.
Happiest Memory: Receiving his letter to Hogwarts and the happiness it brought his family.
Most painful Memory: Witnessing his mother's grief over his father's death. He can barely look at her now, it hurts to see what Stephen's death did to her.

Describe the character's personal history (however brief or extensive):
Owen grew up in a farm house with his parents, Stephen and Jane Cauldwell. His father and mother were muggles. As a child, Owen would help his parents around the house with various farming duties. For his tenth birthday Owen received a camera and has been taking snaps ever since. When Owen got the letter from Hogwarts, his parents were frightened at first, but soon learned that he was enjoying himself at school, sending back visual representations for everything there was to do at Hogwarts. They were happy for Owen. He started Hogwarts in the fall of 1994, and was sorted into Hufflepuff. Two years later, when You-Know-Who was confirmed to be alive again, his father died of a heart attack. Owen returned home in the summers to help his mother with the family farm while living at Hogwarts during the school year. His mother was consumed with grief during his final years at school, but she hired workers on at the farm to help when Owen was not around. Her grief troubled Owen, he grew to dislike visiting her, being reminded by her appearance that his father was gone. When Owen graduated in 2001, Jane knew her son's passion was not the farm, but rather photography. Not wanting to shatter his dreams, she sold the farm and moved to a flat in wizarding London.
Owen had a small position waiting for him at the Prophet working as a society and gossip column photographer. He used the small amount of money acquired from this position to rent a small flat and to upgrade his camera. Owen now spends most of his days photographing various events like Quidditch games, Ministry related events, and anything that caught his eye that he might or might not get paid for. He also takes time to spend time with his best friend from Hogwarts, Eleanor (Ellie) Bradstone when he can. With his mind forever into what snaps he could be taking, it isn't often.
