Describe the character's personal history (however brief or extensive): Simone was born into a pureblood family. Not realizing the responsibilities that came with raising a child, the parents were overwhelmed and finally gave her up for adoption. Not wanting shame brought upon the family, they left her to a muggle orphanage. When Simone was a child she had little control over her magical abilities. She scared her foster parents and the neighborhood kids around her with small magical episodes that the adults of the neighborhood were quick to shrug off as coincidences. The neighborhood kids around her spent much time making fun of her and bullying her. Instead of playing with children her age like normal girls, she spent her time reading and studying.

When she got her letter from Hogwarts, she was elated that she was different from the other children in an amazing way (not in an awful, freakish way that they believed) and she could leave the neighborhood for, at least, the majority of the next seven years. While at Hogwarts, she was sorted into Ravenclaw and spent most of the next several years in the library researching everything to do with magic, spells, and the history of the wizarding world. She also spent time researching her parent’s lineage, and finding she was pureblood, came upon the idea of blood purity. Having lived with muggles her entire life and having been bullied and attacked by them numerous times, she found this a brilliant idea. Wizards were better, and the purer the blood you had, the stronger you were magically. Purebloods were therefore superior in her eyes.

She graduated from Hogwarts with top honors and immediately applied for a job at the Ministry of Magic as receptionist for Maria LeGrot. She wanted to establish contacts, people like her that could be useful in the future of blood purity. She wanted to work her way to a position that would hold great power, but to realize her dreams and the idea of blood purity, she could stand to serve someone else and their similar beliefs. The ideas of Lord Voldemort’s were a great comfort to Simone; although she had a feeling he was going about it the wrong way to protect blood purity. After all, he was killing purebloods, and it seemed too excessive. Still, she was saddened to hear of his death at the hand of Harry Potter. She came to the conclusion that if her ideas were to turn to reality, it was going to have to be a slow and quiet process.

For now, she would keep her ear to the ground and create connections with others that shared her beliefs. After many different titles, she made her way to a position in the ministry of Assistant Director to the Department Director of the Muggle-Worthy Excuse Committee.

Profession: Assistant Director to the Department Director of the Muggle-Worthy Excuse Committee.
